MORE JANUARY KIT

Yesterday I posted a challenge for you and today I'm posting another reveal with the BOAF January Kit!  Again, I kept it simple and had fun using the different pieces of  paper from ADORN IT.
I cut some block pieces of the paper and stated layering on both pages.  For the first layout I even used one of the adorable envelopes from the December Kit
For the second layout I layered paper and included one of the clear polaroid frames under the title.  The red stickers in the kit gave this page a great pop of color.
If you plan on gettig January's Kit or already have it opened and ready to use, make sure you show off your creations in the gallery
Have a great week!

Sunday Scrappy Challenge - 1/19 to 1/25

Hi everyone!
IT'S TIME FOR A NEW SUNDAY CHALLENGE!

The January Kit @ Birds of a Feather comes with a cute page of Echo Park 3/4 cards so I based today's challenge on them!

For your layout I want you to
Use two 3/4 cards (they can be quotes, journaling, blank...whatever!)
&
use a picture with YOU in it!

Here is what I came up with.  I used a picture of Paul and I on our anniversary and I used 3 cards.
Have fun with this challenge and make sure you post in the forum and the gallery by Saturday, January 25.

BOAF January 2014 Kit Is Here

It's 2014.  I can't believe it.  That means it's time for my first January Kit Reveal! This month we get to create with papers from Adorn It and Echo Park.  My favorite part of the kit though, is the sheet of clear polaroid overlays from Allison Kreft from Webster's Pages.  They are easy to use and add a little something to your pictures!  For my two layouts I kept it nice and simple.  My first layout is of my daughter and one of her barn chores at riding lessons.  Had to document how she will clean up after horse but not herself.  :)  I layered paper from the Adorn It collection.  This is actually one sheet of paper but I used both sides and layered it on a white background.  Easy!  Then I took an Instagram picture, covered it with one of the clear frames, then added the title in red letters for a little pop.  I also included one of the little frames that is on the polaroid sheet.  (Just love them!)

For my 2nd layout I went with a black, grey and red color scheme.  I used black and white pictures of Ziggy and Dexter, cut out an ampersand card from the 12 X 12 sheet in the kit, added the red title again and some simple embellishments.  Done! I couldn't resist adding more of the mini polaroid to this layout too.  Really like that some are plain and some have images in the frame.
Then of course, I had to add an initial to both layouts.

If you haven't checked out the January Kit head on over to the store and take a look.
Later this month I will have more reveals with the kit!  In the mean time I hope to see some creations from you too!
