It's almost school time...

I'm getting a little excited about the kids starting school. Part of me, the lazy part, does not want school to start. I like not having a schedule, I like sleeping in, I like NO HOMEWORK, I like the lazy days of Summer, I like being with me kids. Then the other part of me, the part that needs some alone time...CAN NOT WAIT!!! Kate won't be in all day kindergarten, but she will be in school everyday this year. So that means a little time to myself...EVERYDAY!!! How cool with that be? Tyler start 3rd grade so I know there will be lots of homework and we have some things that need to be done to help Tyler out but I am hoping for a very good year for him! (Last year was a hard year) We don't start until September 4 but that date is approching pretty quickly. Here's to a few more weeks of Summer and a few more weeks until a new year of school!

Kalahari Resort

  We are back from our trip to the Kalahari Resort in Ohio!!! It was so much fun! We only stayed one night and that is not enough time to enjoy it! This picture was taken in one of the pools which was just gorgeous! Only wish Tyler was in it! I will post more later!

I just talked to my very good friend Rene today!! We have not seen each other in about 5 years...CAN YOU BELIVE IT RENE??? I wanted to post this picture of me, Tyler and Kate to show her what they look like! (I don't look that great, but you get the idea!!!)

We went out to my sister and brother-in-law's house last weekend. They live a few blocks from Lake Orion so we took the kids down there for a bit! We had a great time and Paul took this picture of Beth and I! I love it! She is 6 years younger than me and we are very close!
