Altered Coffin

I found these wood coffins at Michaels last week and I just had to alter them! (and I don't usually do much altering) I am going to put some candy inside and give them to the kids for Halloween. I think they will like them. I used We R Memory Makers BLACK OUT collection from the TRICKSTER KIT at The Mosy Scrapper! There are two great kits up this month. I think I have to go grab more coffins so I have them...just in case!

Posting some new Layouts

I haven't been to creative in the past few weeks but I did manage to get a few layouts done in the past few days. They were both done for The Mosy Scrapper.

The cast is OFF on Wednesday!

Poor Tyler broke his ankle last month when he was at school. He has been in this cast since the 26 and he is SOOOOO happy to be getting it off next week. The poor kid didn't get to have his birthday party because he can't play Laser Tag. Tomorrow he has a birthday party to go to and they are playing Laser Tag at the end and he can't play. Needless to say he is counting the days until the cast gets taken off. I can't wait for it to come off either...it's starting to smell!!! That foot needs some fresh air. (LOL!) The birthday party is rescheduled and Tyler is ready to walk without a cast and boot!

When: Entire contest lasts October 6th-Dec 28th, 2008. Each week a new contest is given. You will have 5 days to work on each contest and one day for open judging. At the end of the entire 12-week long contest all points will be added up for a GRAND PRIZE!!!

Grand Prize: A FREE JANUARY MONTHLY KIT OF YOUR CHOICE!! (two to chose from).

Deadlines: Will be stated on each contest. All entries must be uploaded to the TMS gallery and in the correct forum post. YES, you do have to be a member of TMS (go get yourself registered now!) All scrappers welcome! International winners are responsible for actual shipping charges.

I think I managed to get a good amount done at the TMS Weekend Crop! There was TONS of inspiration and challenges. None of us managed to complete them all so Christa is keeping them up so we can work on them when we have time! So happy she is doing that! CROP WITH US ALL WEEEKEND!!!!

The Mosy Scrapper 1/2 Birthday Cyber Crop starts tonight at 7pm!!! We start tonight and go until Sunday night. Mosy Scrapper September Kit

I received my first kit from Christa to start working on my DT assignments. Thanks Christa!! The September "Aubrey" Monthly Kit is wonderful! If you love October Afternoon you will want to get one right away! Christa did a great job putting this one together. I have two layouts done so far and I did 6 X 12 layouts for the first time! I love this size. The OA papers are so easy to use and have great designs and colors.
